Read this with every buyer before they send funds. One minute of verification can stop the most common fraud in real estate.

Fairway Escrow Inc. will NEVER change wiring instructions by email, and will never pressure you to wire "right now." Any email that says otherwise is fraud — even if it looks exactly like ours.

Three rules for every wire

1️⃣

Get instructions from us, not from email.

Wiring instructions come from your escrow officer through a verified channel. Treat any emailed instructions — even from a familiar address — as unverified.

2️⃣

Call the number you already know.

Before sending a wire, call our office at (833) 392-3292 — never a number supplied in an email — and read the account details back to us.

3️⃣

If instructions "changed," stop.

Instructions do not change mid-escrow. New account details, a different bank, or a "correction" means stop, call us, and do not reply to that email.

Our verified number is (833) 392-3292. Save it before you begin your transaction, and use it for every wire-related call.

If something already went out

Call your bank immediately and ask for a wire recall, then call us, then file a report at IC3.gov. Minutes matter.
